On April 20, 1997, Steven left his dream corporate job to begin owning his own business. Steven grew up with parents who owned businesses. He had a desire to give it a try. Family members who already own more 16 establishments convinced him to take over one of the pizza shops first started by his dear friend Vinnie, who provided fine Italian food to the Brattleboro area. Steven traveled to Vicenza, Italy where his father arranged for him to work in a local Venetian pizza shop in Italy. I must say the resturant Steven worked at in Italy was awarded 3 gold medals for their pizza in the Veneto region. After his training he returned and started to learn the family's business.
Steven has been making pizza for more than 14 years and has learned and worked with some of the best restaurateurs from New York and Vicenza, Italy. From his experience of working with the “best” he developed his own unique technique and recipes.
Steven grew up in a family environment where food was synonymous with the warmth of parental love. Every day and especially on Sundays, were always a time of getting together with family to enjoy a home cooked Italian meal. As a boy, Steven learned the value of good Italian food by watching his Mom and family put on the table rustic, authentic Italian specialties.
Steven found the right ingredients which gave this successful business what it is today. His thanks to George, the family and his travels and training to Italy. The tradition continues with Steven and his crew, working side by side to provide their customers with the finest quality ingredients, healthier ingredients, and combined with a warm and friendly smile.
